Erdos Had The Number First

This guy is high if he thinks that other countries are not trying to develop space based weapons. The weaponization of
space is going to happen. In fact, it’s already happeneing. He notes that the Russians and the Chinese have applied diplomatic
pressure to the US to try to prevent space-based weapons. Of course they are. They don’t have the capability
to do guns in the sky yet, but the Chinese are working it.

I will agree with him that the space debris problem is very real. I just don’t think any of the terrestrial militaries care that much. And if he thinks there isn’t a space arms race already in progress he’s mistaken. It’s already happening, it’s just a really quiet race.
